With 15 years’ experience Michael began his journey in IT and Microsoft technologies building, fixing and maintaining business computers while dial-up was still a thing! From there he moved into technical management roles at several ISPs in Australia and New Zealand and then found his way to Microsoft New Zealand while going through its largest transformation to date into cloud services.

Advocating internally at Microsoft for Non-profit organisations, Public Sector, Corporate, Enterprise and Consumers alike, he built his brand across Asia-Pacific. Making sure that if there was something broken after all other support avenues had been exhausted, it was surfaced and ultimately… made right.

Taking his passion for empowering customers to do more, it was a natural progression into sales where he worked in Microsoft Corporate Accounts as the Customer Success Manager and then further honed his skills in Business Development Management.

While not at work, you’ll find Michael buried in philosophical discussions, cleaning his fish tanks or spending time with his fiancée and 13-year old son.
