David started writing computer games over 20 years ago, then learned to program properly and became a solutions architect in the banking industry. Moving between a few roles leading software teams and being led, David has had a breadth of experience ranging from desktop Windows applications and high-transaction e-commerce websites to blockchain-powered trade finance platforms used by tier-one banks.
Among these, David has assisted a range of diverse companies in moving their platforms to Azure and has a pragmatic eye for ensuring solutions are both robust and cost-effective.
Away from making computer things work, David can be seen exploring New Zealand with his family and can be seen not falling off his scooter in the Auckland rain.
