The bulk of Korey’s career has revolved around technology commercialisation through marketing, sales, and customer success business functions. Prior to joining Parallo, Korey helped build the world’s first national level Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Community, known as kiwiSaaS. Through that experience he came to deeply understand the opportunities and challenges New Zealand software organisations face and used these learnings to inform the design of programmes that turbo-charged the sector at scale.
Continuing this work with Parallo, Korey is keenly focused on helping organisations achieve impressive growth and reach their market potential. His love for all things market-facing also extends to the classroom, where he has enjoyed teaching Marketing at the University of Waikato since 2016.
Outside of work, Korey and his clan are keen travellers and a couple of times a year get away for an adventure abroad. Whether it’s trekking through Patagonia, visiting family in the US, or relaxing on a warm beach somewhere in the tropics, they’re always chasing endless Summer!
